WATCH: New Obama Ad Slams Romney On Tax Returns, ‘47 Percent’

After spending the weekend criticizing Mitt Romney for declining to release more than two years of his tax returns, the Obama campaign has released a tough new ad tying Romney’s 14.1 percent tax rate to the 47 percent of Americans that he targeted as “victims” in a now-infamous secret video.

“Mitt Romney attacked 47 percent of Americans who pay no income tax — including veterans, elderly, the disabled,” the ad’s narrator darkly warns over the video of Romney’s fundraiser.

“Doesn’t the president have to worry about everyone?” the ad continues. “Mitt Romney paid just 14.1 percent in taxes last year. He keeps millions in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. He won’t release his tax returns before 2010. Maybe instead of attacking others on taxes, Romney should come clean on his.”

The ad, titled “No Taxes,” will begin airing in Ohio today in advance of Romney and Paul Ryan’s three-day bus tour through the state.
